Thought I'd start it up, this is for people to make an input into what the ideal kit would contain, and also what the best tank would be. I'll give mine from experience.
Tank:
Built in aerator, decent light, improved magnification, nice landscape/interior/sculpture. More square based for less spillage
Kit:
Standard packets equipment with plasma 3 and sea medic, tiny tank tool.

I would like to get a one gallon tank set up and then add two seperate and established adult colonies, perhaps with a few generations in them.
I'd set up the tank with a small filter in the center with little "condos" at each end, then I'd add the two colonies, one on each side of the tank.
I think it would/could be really cool to see them interact, see if they started mingling and inter-breeding, or if they tried to stay seperated.
What do you guys think would happen?
(I'm not sure this is what was ment for this thread, but the observation would be part of my ideal sea monkey experience)

I don't think that Sea Monkeys are territorial moeberry, so I think that they would just swim around with each other and be pals.
My Sea Monkeys are in my office at work, gazing out of the window all the time. I think a little desk shaped tank, with a computer on the desk. It would mostly be clear plastic, but the computer 'screen' would be a big magnifying glass. The small computer under the desk would hold a built in electric aereator that switches itself on every now and then, and of course there would be a built in lamp on the desk. If we could work out some way to have an organiser in it as well that would rule.

Perhaps have an AC/DC adapter as standard so we can have a constant light or aerator without having to change batteries or having batteries in an awkward unchangable place (explorasub anyone?). Yes the tank should also be bigger but I don't think I'd go as far as a gallon or even 2 gallon. Considering they like to advertise the plasma plus purifier as 1 quart of the formula. Perhaps a 1 quart tank would be wicked. I also think the introduction of fake plants or something would be good as well as a maze inside the tank lmao.
Sorry to go overboard I'm just giving everything here lol. Remember the race tracks, perhaps making them tandard in the tanks, in a way, having some sort of water pump (not electric) put in, which you press to generate current and you can watch them swim around. But yeh lol.

Yeah, plants would be cool. So would the built in current, it'd give them some activity, and provide extra oxegen, making for less maintance.
I hope I didn't imply with my last post that I wanted to introduce two seperate colonies to see them fight or be territorial. Nothing could be further from the truth. I am more interested to see if they would a) be shy, and take a little while to mingle b)keep the youngins seperate untill the adults had investigated, c) act like long lost friends, d)how long befor mating took place between the two groups, e) behave like a single colony from the start.....
Things of that nature. I believe that sea monkeys are non-violent (based on my current knowledge), and its part of why I love them.

Nah you didn't imply that, I just personally think as mentioned previously they would just mix. Their instinct I believe is only based on knowing whats food and how to mate etc.

No moeberry, you didn't imply that you wanted to see them fighting or anything - sorry, my English - I thought that you can say territorial meaning that they stay in just one place and never go anywhere, now I see it also means fighting!
I'd agree with Zoralink though. I think most freshwater invertebrates have only instincts to swim towards some kind of light, eat and breed. I don't think that they think much about their eggs once they have been laid.
I wish that my life was so simple :(

There is a SM cube world in one of the cubicles where I work. There is a picture of a SM peeking over the top of a cubical above the tank, and a sign that says, ‘See the amazing cubical monkeys!’ I think a cubical would be neat, but would probably have to be mostly painted so they didn’t get stuck. I’m 26 and would love a more adult look to a tank.

For aeration, I'd love one with a built in, electronic aerator, and maybe even programmable to every day, every other day, etc. For shape and terrain, I'd like one with more of a square shape, but no theme or anything in the tank, more like the Ocean Zoo set I think skyscrapers and themes just get in the way. There would also be a coral reef or ocean photo image in the back, like one member (I can't remember who) printed out an put on his Ocean Zoo. It would include the purifier and eggs, two packets of growth food, Sea-Medic, an Aqua Leash, and a food measuring spoon.
I might try to make something like this (minus the aerator) out of a Ocean Zoo. I'd add a stand somewhat like the stands on picture frames and wight it to make the tank balanced and have a image taped on the back. I'd put it sideways by the window so it still gets light.

Yakkers, you would love my 1 quart tank I made. It has an air stone in it and contains two packets worth of sea monkeys. The lil' guys seem to love it. It’s my favorite tank because it is an actual aquarium set up. No florescent orange moon monsters or bright pink cars.

Well right now I have what I think is a pretty good set up. I have a two gallon tank with a built in light and an airstone. I'm going to add my current one packet worth of Sea Monkeys to it soon.
