Also, the true reason why you are to wait 24 hours to add the egg packet is so that you can think they are really "instant". Actually, there are eggs in the water purifier.  It is set up so that when you stir in the eggs and see things swimming around, you think that these are the sea-monkeys from the packet you just added when actually they are the sea-monkeys that have hatched from the night before.    Report
