I think when Robert Akira Bell posted "Cool But could i ask you one thing what are BS eggs If you know please email me" he was trying to scam us by getting our e-mail adresses, spambots do this a lot on forums. Just make sure not to send him an e-mail!    Report

This is really cool.  I'm thinking about trying it out.  Do I still need to let the water sit for 24 hours with the baking soda and salt before adding the eggs?  I would use distilled water.  I did this when I was a kid using a mason jar.  I don't remember having to wait.  You can get more brine shrimp eggs than you can use for under $3 and some Artemia food for under $2.  Of course, these aren't REAL Sea Monkeys.  It would be interesting to see which tank does better.
