Hi, after years of not thinking of the advertisements I looked at with yearning as a kid in the back of Boys Life, these little creatures came up in a conversation this wknd (I now live in France, and I don't think my friends really believed that they could hatch from a dried powder). My son is now the same age as I was when I wanted to order them but couldn't so I'd like to now make it happen. The MagiQuarium sounds pretty cool, any comments on it from users ? do they seem to enjoy this glowing in the dark? I saw somewhere there are new glow in the dark stones that they seem to gravitate to and thought them in a smaller fish bowl with deco and plants might be a more natural enviornment.? But I forget their name and which site I saw them listed And where can we get info on price or ordering the ELECTRIC OCEAN ZOO "SHOWBOAT" mentioned in the SM supply section on this site, that sounds very interesting for projecting on a wall. Finally does the MagiQuarium come with all necessary things for really healthy specimens, I would be ordering to France and the site I found doesn't do the extra sachets of vitamins or stuff. Is the glow in the dark feature enough light to really see the monkeys, like could my son watch them at night on a near table as he drops off to sleep? I had thought of the Galleon because of the light, but he'd have to get up to turn it off. It doesn't appear to have the aqualeash either, so that might be a problem, the one site in Europe I found which could ship to me doesn't sell them separately. Any comments would be appreciated. My son is now excited about seeing these weird things he can't yet imagine, and so I need to decide soon and order. (my other choice would be the Galleaon, but he'd prefer the glow in the dark idea. Plus it's quite a bite more money in price and shipping both. Thanks so much,    Report

You can compare the products online by googling :) The MagiQuarium is cheaper but it lacks Aqua leash, Million bubble pump and the lovely galleon ship :) It is actually just a basic Ocean Zoo tank which contains or is coated with phosphorescent material. I'd go for the Ghostly Galleon. If you pick the MagiQuarium, you'll have to find an alternative to the aqua leash which you'll most certainly need. Either use a small airstone or something similar to the aqua leash if you're getting the MagiQuarium  :) MagiQuarium Ghostly Galleon    Report
