I have my little Plasma III experiment going right now. My Mars tank does not have Plasma III. My Ghostly Galleon does.
I was having trouble with Sea Monkeys reaching maturity in the Ghostly Galleon at first. I was using it as a nursery for a little while, but now I have some adults in there. I cheated and added some brine shrimp eggs to the tank over a month ago, so there are both Sea Monkeys and brine shrimp in the tank. I'm also feeding that tank different food. They eat Spirulina Algae Tablets that I have crushed up to a powder. I still use the Sea Monkey feeding spoon to measure, and I feed them once a week. My next plan for this tank is to get some Sea Medic type stuff from the pet store to prevent bacteria and fungus.
Both tanks are doing well. I added some Sea Medic to both tanks because of the cotton ball bacteria. I have had reproduction in the Mars tank. I aerate both tanks daily.
So, my Mars tank is a strict "Sea Monkey Transcience" tank. The Ghostly Galleon is a "brine shrimp pet store" tank. I'm doing the Plasma III in the Ghostly Galleon because I had started it and was curious to see if I could get adults in there.

That would explain why some people recommend dumping the whole packet of Plasma III in at once - so the babies acclimate to it and they get all the extra vitamins.
I didn't do that. I'm following the directions on the packet.
