05-22-2007, 3:17 AM otakugirl1979 Joined on 05-04-2007 In front of my monitor.. ^_^ Posts 37 Two black spots on back of females....... I've got one or two females in my tank and they both have what appear to be two evenly spaced black spots towards the back of their fins, on on each side. Does this mean they are pregnant or something else? I'm not sure....they're acting as normal. All the others look the same as ever, just these two have the 'spots' Anyone know what this means?      Report

They're impossible to count, little squibs are whizzing around so fast! A LOT of mine are pregnant now, or mating. I had two pairs fighting the other week, I just left them to it because they usually sort it out. Luckily no artemia were harmed in the procedure! One of my pregnant girls was caught up between to fighting males at one point, I will confess to a few squooshes with the million-bubble, and luckily she got free.        Report

I seem to have the same problem with one of my females.  She has those 2 evenly spaced black spots.  It doesn't seem to noticably affect her, but she isn't pregnant.  Hmm...  Little help?    Report
