Hello All
Just wanted to introduce myself to everybody here. I was really into sea monkeys when I was a child, Now many years later I stated up with the "Sea Monkeys on Mars" kit. I am in week 2 and wow they have grown quick! I choose the user name Niko the Sea Monkey cus that is what I called my baby boy when he was still in the womb.

You want your son to resemble a seamonkey? A brine shrimp?

I agree, I love the Mars tank...
I do notice however that they sometimes get stuck in the back. I guess its not a big deal or else they would of recalled it.
Im thinking of getting the sea monkeys in the city next

My friend at work just got the Hang 10 kit. It's really cool. There is a little hoop for them to swim through. There are also plastic sea monkey figures laying out on beach towels.
There is also a Moon kit that is similar to the Hang 10 and City kits that looks interesting.
As for me, I have my Mars kit and Ghostly Galleon on my desk at work. It's too hot at my house to have a tank there, so I need to limit myself to the 2 tanks here. (It's over 85 degrees, and I refuse to run the air conditioning for the sake of Sea Monkeys.) I don't want everyone to think I just play with my Sea Monkey's all day. It's fun to take a break and watch them from time to time though.

How many do you have in your Mars tank ? I have between 7-10 large ones and 3-5 small. I have a male and female that appear to be mating for the last 3 days now. On a different post sombody told me that they can mate for weeks.
I am thinking about picking up the Ghostly Galleon set it comes with the air pump which I need.

There are 4 pretty big ones and 3 smaller ones. I think I lost a big one over the weekend. That's in my Mars tank.
I have brine shrimp in my Ghostly Galleon. I was having trouble with the Sea Monkeys reaching maturity in there, so I put some brine shrimp eggs in there for the heck of it. There are a bunch of babies in there, and they don't grow as fast as Sea Monkeys. That's what I have noticed. Some people say they grow the same, but not in my office.

Wow... all you people and your fancy sea-monkey designer tanks. All I got was a little beta tank from petsmart! It seems to work well enough, though, and there's nothing in it for them to get stuck behind... ^_^ By the way, it's my third day in... my icke babies twitching around, all cute and stuff.
