All My Sea-Monkeys Died!
Reply Quote
I always put them in a window facing West so it does get direct sunlight but its only in the morning so i just put them there and when i begin to see that the sun is begining to hit them hard i just move them from there back to my desk so at least they get some sunlight :P well today i put them there and i had forgotten that i placed them there and like an hour later i ran to the window and grabbed them and noticed the tank was very hot and that they were all on the floor of the tank not moving T_T sad thing to feel is knowing you killed them all because you forgot to take them out of the sun so now i only have 1 living tank but they are all babies and this one where they all died they were 12 days old T_T i grabbed 1 sea monkey from the other one where they are 5 days old hoping its a female and seeing if it is able to survive on its own and hopefully reproduce on her own or that the eggs that were on the floor that never hatched would hopefully hatch.... i feel really bad knowing it was my fault T_T and i dont have a north facing window or else i would put them there i do have 1 south facing window but my mom has all her plants on that window so i have no room for my sea-monkeys

I am so sorry to hear about your Sea Monkeys.

I don't have a window for mine to get natural light in my office, so I bought a plant light.  I'm starting to get algae in one of the tanks after about 3 weeks of using the light.  I have a constant temperature in my office, so at least there is no danger of them dying from too much heat.
