It is very simple. Mark on the calendar.
After that, once they hatch and grow, I feed less than half scoop every morning, aerate and suck out the dirt.

I read that after algae is in the tank you can slow down feeding every other week.

If you prefer, you can leave the dirt in there, but it will form what everyone calls "gunk". Algae might not necessarily grow if the lighting and warmth are not right. Yes, you can slow down feeding if there is algae in the tank.

It is up to you whether you prefer taking out the dirt. Some people would even use a coffee filter to keep the water perfectly clean. But that is extreme and it will disrupt the eco-system that way since they need some of that dirt and algae.
Feeding every day is fine, if the water is clear and it is only less than half scoop (usually only quarter scoop). Mixing the food with the water using your aqua leash is a tip that the manual does not mention. Mixing clears up the water and you will find that the seamonkeys love having the "snow" of food around them as they swim and eat.
Taking out the dirt does take out the salt in the water. But that is inevitable. Topping up with clean water will lower the salinity, but adult seamonkeys are fine with it. If you like, you can add sea salt but you will need to know how much to add.
Feed on 4th or 5th day after your eggs have hatched.

I just mark it on my calendar, but I put a check box so I know if I've done it yet. That way if I forget I'll know I still have to, and if I've already fed, I won't do it again.

I just feed once a week on the same day, so I know when that day comes it's time to feed.

Now that they are full grown and I have plenty of algae. I just feed them on the first of every month, and then about halfway through the month I give them their vitamins... It's all about getting into a rhythm... Like I always oxgenate before going to bed... and I never forget.

I just do it every Saturday or Sunday, depending on how the smonkeys are swimming. If they are lively I leave it an extra day, if not, I give them an extra long aerating and some food on the Saturday! I'd never feed them daily and only suck out the big bits of "white fluff". After considerable observation it appears that the little dudes can take a substantial amount of punishment and I think forgetting to feed them for an extra couple of days really doesn't make much difference. It's all about common sense really.
