Oxygen for my seamonkeys.

I finally got seamonkeys. The hang 10 tank. The bad side is that it doesn't come with anything important like a million bubble pump or an aqua leash. On the instructions it said you can use a plastic spoon to stir the water for your seamonkeys. I want my seamonkeys to live as long as they can or should I order a million bubble pump?

i would suggest to get the aqua leash and get a bubble stone and attach it to the end of the aqua leash that way its like 2 in 1 but if you have the monkey then go ahead and buy both and the bubble stone you can find a pack of 2 at walmart for a dollar :P

Well Im not sure how the million bubble pump is compared to aqua leash and bubble stone but the bubble stone does the job, its better than stirring with a spoon or just pumping huge bubbles with the aqua leash alone

Uh oh. Since I live in an apartment I don't get sunlight in all directions. What do I do? I have the hang 10 kit.

You don't need sunlight from all directions.  If you put them by the window, make sure it's not where the water will get too hot.  Water over 80 deg F or 27 deg C is warmer than optimal.  If the water gets too hot, it will kill your Sea Monkeys.  (Putting them right in the window probably isn't a good idea.)

I don't have a window in my office at all.  I keep my tanks under a plant light bulb.  I am finally getting algae to grow on the Ghostly Galleon ship.

I hope this helps!

LisaH

I was think about putting it next to my dad's fish tank. Would that work also or no? And does anyone have an estimate on how long it takes to have the seamonkey company to send you the supplies you bought?

One website, i think it was the seamonkeyworshippage, said that you can blow water into the tank through a straw. Prehaps a Nurofen syringe or similar, wide hole sryinge could be used in an emgergancy to replace the aqua-leash until it arrives.
