Wilted Flower [W] Black Balls on their legs!!
Reply Quote
My friend has very successful seamonkeys and she found that there are small black balls on the legs of a few of her seamonkeys.  The infected ones seem to not mind that these strange balls are  there.  She wants to know if they are anything to worry about.  Please awnser as soon as possible for her beloved seamonkeys could be lost!!!

My Sea-Monkeys have the same thing. Well, a few of them. I think it is either eggsacs or(please dont laugh) the testicles that a male has. I've seen two pairs of my Sea-Monkeys mating at different times, and only ONE of the Sea-Monkeys had black balls, so, I'm presuming that it tells them apart(the Sea-Monkeys) by gender.

Hope this helps,

The male sea monkeys do not have "testicles." The black balls are simply the eggs sacs full of eggs.
Hope this helps,

Yeah. Male seamonkeys have larger mouth parts in front of their heads, whereas females do not.

If the "black balls" are at the end of their legs, where the tail starts, then those are the egg sacs.

I am in week 3 of the Mars tank and I have already noticed the black balls. If they are indeed egg sacs, then how long until they hatch? I am worried that the Mars tank may be too small for the babies that will grow into adults...

Should I buy a back up tank to handle the population control ?

I think there is some confusion here.  They are not talking about black balls on the bodies at the end of the legs, they are talking about black balls actually ON the end of the LEGS themselves.  I have the same problem with one of my smonkeys too.
