Monkeys at bottom of tank

MainMonkeyBiz 07-22-2007, 1:31 PM
I have had my new Sea Monkey tank for about a week and a half now and I noticed that almost all of my SM are at the bottom of the tank. They seem to be alive, but they are just moving around the bottom of the tank. When I take a dropper and suck one of the ones at the bottom up in it and then replace it back in the tank, he just goes back down to the bottom. Whats going on with them? Are they all dying? I have been feeding them once a week, so I have only fed them once so far.

This seems to be common when the Sea Monkeys are young. They seem to stick to the bottom and edges of the tank, but when they grow up they'll move around more.

Some of my Sea Monkeys seem obsessed with the bottom of the tank too.  I figure that they'll do what they do and hope that the strong will survive.

Your tank needs more light. The water is too deep and dark. For the seamonkeys to swim happily, they need sunlight near the window.
