Check out growafrog.com. It's pretty neat; you get a tadpole, and you can raise it into a small frog that always lives in the water!

It's real. When you get a kit, you send in a form and they send you your free tadpole in the mail. Here is another place they are selling it. I've also seen it on ebay.

I just bought a kit that comes with 3 tadpoles! Their average lifespan is 5 years, and many have reported them to live up to 20 years! Can't wait to get them. I'll try to squeeze them into my blog sometime with pictures so that you guys can check them out. Here is the kit I got:

i guess you have never heard of a pond before why do you have a tadpole for its a bit odd but it sounds like fun!

Well the amazing thing about these is that not only do you get to watch them morph into a frog, but the frog ALWAYS lives in the water. You aslo don't have to worry about aeration because the frog/tad comes up for air.

How do they mail them? What I mean is, so they come already living IYKWIM? I always thought Tadpoles grew inside those clear egg sacks as I remember watching them wriggle around inside the egss at school.

yeah but then the tad poles hatch and grow   i grow some one time they got to where they had arms and legs but still have a tail and the all mysteriously died

They rush the tadpoles by mail, and the aquarium and food comes with it. All I have to do is add them to the aquarium.

That's the part I want to see most! (Them morphing into a frog.) I think it's neat when they look half froggy half tad.
