According to the Transcience order form, it seems that they are no longer selling the Jumbo Living Plasma. So, in this case, your best bet would be to use about 8 teaspoons of sea salt. Next, add 4 packets of eggs. In this case you will not need to have the Water Purifier.
If you are not using distilled water, you may want to have some Water Purifier. In this case, use 6 teaspoons of sea salt, 1 packet of Water Purifier, and 4 packets of eggs.
The formula I created in one of the other posts was for brine shrimp eggs. In your case, you are using Sea Monkey packets which already contain salts, so you don't want to try and mix all of these formulas because it can get confusing with the salt concentrations.
Safer Approach If you wish to stay closer to the original Sea Monkey formula as possible, this approach is probably best, but may be just a little more expensive because you will need more packets. Making a gallon of Sea Monkeys is like making about 11 different Sea Monkey tanks. What this means is that you will need 11 packets of Water Purifier, and 11 packets of eggs. This will be a sure way to match what you do in the smaller tanks. At about $3 USD a packet from Trancience, this can be very costly. But, if you can get two of the Sea Monkeys: Teacher's Pets kits, they have 6 packets of everything in them (and lots more including food), so you'd have 12 packets much cheaper.
Also, no matter which method you choose, since you are working with more water, your chances of contamination is greater, so you should try to let these formulas sit for 24-36 hours before adding eggs just to be safe.
If you are low on egg packets, you will need more sea salt, so if you are unable to get more packets, feel free to let me know how many you have, and I can tell you how much salt you will need.
Good luck!

That sea-salt is mostly for eating, and may contain iodide. The one you want is over by the pet fish, around the fish food. I purchased mine from Wal-Mart and it is in a litte carton. It's called "Doc Wellfish's Aquarium Salt". From what I recall, it should be pretty cheap. :)

Yes Transcience still sells the living Plasma Packets For the how many packets of eggs it takes about 3-4. For Your question on the Water Purifier I Am not sure if you can use the recipe instead of the water purifier. You do not need sea-salt.
