This is obviously not a kit... but nonetheless, this is a product worthy of a review. It's cool, it's the Sea-Monkeys Wacky Wobbler! And in my humblest of opinions, this is a must have for any true Sea-Monkey aficionado. The Wacky Wobbler is of course what is known as a bobbing head doll. And I have to be honest, I've never once in my life had a desire to put a bobbing head doll in the rear window of my car... that is until now. Unfortunately the wobbler was made with limited production and they made only one run so you can't find it in any stores. I've seen it for sale on eBay, so if you've still got a hankering for one, check there.
As you can see, this cute little guy stands about 8 inches tall and very accurately represents the classic "fanciful depiction" of a Sea-Monkey. This is a good thing too since I don't think a brine shrimp bobbing head doll would have gone over nearly as well. A warning though... if you display one of these wobblers... whether it be in your car or office, you're likely going to be branded as a Sea-Monkey fanatic. So if you're like me, you're going to want to display it proudly wherever you can. And because it's a Sea-Monkey, you'll find that there's lots of creative ways to dsiplay it other than just the rear window of your car.
The Sea-Monkeys Wacky Wobbler is produced by a company called Funko Inc.. And they've done a wonderful job in both the product and the packaging. The reason I mention the packaging is because it's what first struck me when I received my wobbler. It's creative, colorful, and even includes a tad of Sea-Monkey history on the back of the box. The text on the back reads as follows:
You probably saw your first Sea-Monkey on the back of a favorite comic book. Since their creation in 1957 by inventor Harold Von Braunhut (also the man who you X-ray specs) Sea-Monkeys have become the world's favorite aquatic pet! NASA has even sent Sea-Monkeys into space! From their humble beginnings over forty years ago, to the full line of new products created by Exploratoy, Sea-Monkeys will continue to fascinate and educate children into the next century.
As you can see, Funko has done a great job in creating a wobbler that will appeal to current Sea-Monkey owners as well as those who owned them as kids growing up in the 60's and 70's. Many of those grownups don't have time to raise Sea-Monkeys anymore (sad really), but they no doubt still have fond memories of raising them as youngsters. That's why a product like this has such broad appeal. And like I said earlier, you can display it anywhere. I'm keeping one on top of my computer monitor, one next to a Sea-Monkey aquarium, and of course, one in the rear window of my car (using a small piece of Velcro stick tape easily secures it).

Summary:
Ok, everyone knows I'm a hopeless nostalgic when it comes to Sea-Monkeys, so if I seem a bit excited about this product, I have reason. But even if you're brand new to Sea-Monkeys, I think you're going to enjoy this wobbler. If not for yourself, then consider this product as an excellent gift for anyone you know that owns (or once owned) Sea-Monkeys. Two thumbs up from Webster and the WebbedMaster!
